Pacific Standard Time re-established San Francisco as a global capital of dance music culture and nightlife in the early 2000s. For almost 10 years, at various venues, PST broke records, artists and music genres through creative and envelope-pushing DJ and live performance bookings, from the local up and comers to massive iconic pop stars.
PST ended around 2010. In the wake of a continuing global pandemic, large-scale gentrification across SF and Oakland, and widespread economic insecurity, PST founder Sake One felt it was time to return to the source, to activate the power of soulful dance music to heal and build community. And for those who have experienced PST, it is fo sho not only a dance party, but a community.
Hosted by OG PST cofounder Carlito, with Sake One on the wheels of steel joined by the legendary DJ Tony Touch of Rocksteady Crew, original PST co-resident The C.M.E., and some *very* special guest DJs who will rock steady into the evening, this will be the event of the summer in SF.
Due to the influx of the delta variant we are requiring proof of FULL vaccination, or, a negative covid test within 72 hours of doors on Sunday. That means if you are not fully vaccinated please visit one of the several free clinics throughout the city to get tested within 72 hours of the event date. Antigen or PCR tests are acceptable.
